Get directionsExcellent experience at dinner. Decor is new and very attractive, and menu is diverse and appealing. The service was excellent as well. We had had less than stellar experiences at the "old" Redeye Grill, but this new incarnation appears very successful, in this first visit back, in all ways. We will return.
Big windows creating an airy ambiance; appealing American-style menu with an emphasis on sea food; tasty preparations; attentive service. So is something wrong with Redeye Grill? The chief fault: Its prices seem high for what you get. They're not out-of-sight, but they're hard to justify. The food is good but not so special that the high cost seems deserved. Still, the experience is pleasant (until the bill comes).
when fries came luke warm and soggy the waiter took them back immediately and brought fresh. That probably resulted from slow delivery of the order. Fish and chips excellent.
Stellar live music. Lots of room between tables. Very good food, good service. Great ambiance. Excellent and memorable. Will definitely return
Simone was fantastic. Other than her, the service was pretty lackluster. It took way too long to get someone's attention.
Food was delicous and the service was good not excellent.
Nice open floorplan, comfortable seats, great fresh seafood selections, friendly & efficient service, but bring your bank book.
Terrific for pre-matinee performances at City Center. We have made it a ritual brunch location. Light and bright, and always fresh seafood.
Perfect for pre-carnegie Hall dinner, Very efficient service and the food was all very good. I had grilled arctic char and my wife had grilled trout and both were fresh and well cooked. A spicy crab roll was deliicoius but the roasted brussel sprouts were too sweet and too oily. Drinks were pricey, but hey, this is NYC.
