Horrible property management company!! I had various issues with this company. When you ask any help , they will argue and they would never do it. I had a leak in my property , I asked them to fix it but they completely denied. They have been charging me lot of money for their so called property management but when it comes to do the job , they will walk away. STAY AWAY from renters warehouse.
Absolute fraudulent and horrible property management company. I am a landlord (not a tenant) and I can promise you Renters Warehouse DC has only caused headaches for me regarding my property management needs. Sheila Scholl who operates the McLean office refuses to speak directly with owners. They have horrible business processes in place and do not have any respect for what it means to provide customer service. Worst company ever... Please don't do it! Specifically stay away from Ricardo Gonzales I'm a homeowner in DC and my house flooded over on New Years Day. With the help of my insurance company I was able to locate a house across the street from mine for a short term rental. Rented a property in Ft. Washington Md from Renter's Warehouse. We had no issues while living there until it was time to refund us our security deposit! They were very unprofessional and did not return our calls or listen to our concerns. The money was not returned to us until after 45days!! By law it should have came before then! Current landlord in NJ, 1.5 years with rw My account got transferred from NJ realty solutions when they got acquired.. and .. well.. I regretted that for a year. Re is not something I would personally select after researching. Given it is another cost to switch management companies., I have not done that yet.. Terrible company, shady business practices and completely unresponsive in regards to maintenance requests. In the two months we've been involved with them they've backdated their rent ledger to fraudulently charge late fees and then "corrected" said fees only to sneak them in on subsequent rent payments. Also rented us a property where an active criminal investigation was ongoing. Rent at your own risk.
"At renters warehouse, where tenants have no rights" should be their slogan. Our landlord and her agent are doing everything they can to make us uncomfortable in our very new space. They contact us constantly with bogus assumptions about what's happening on the property, they've sent exterminators to our property when we don't have any type of bugs. If you are a property owner in the DMV area and are planning to rent, DO NOT use this office. Sheila Scholl and her team are unprofessional and abuse owners and renters through hidden fees. My tenant paid rent two days after the due date and received a $80 late fee. This was the first time the tenant had been late, and it was out of her control.
