I like Renu and her service she was maybe the only person that answered the phone for me when I was distressed. I had a very hard and stressful closing but Renu as an individual was good to me. I thought the communication was awful with the company. I felt I was always begging for answers or help. But I’m all I am happy with my home and I appreciate the time and effort that everyone put in. Underwritters who Had defined requirements, rather than shifting requests. This thing took nearly three months to complete. The coordination between the departments was not stellar.They are NOT prepared for clients with unusual lifestyles. Renu is very nice.

The first thing Renu told me was that Mutual of Omaha does not sell their mortgages. However, my mortgage was sold to an unscrupulous company, which has been in the news for fraudulent activities. I am extremely upset and uncomfortable with this situation. As soon as possible, I will look to refinance with another bank. It appears to be a very shady practice to me.

Worst customer service, Renu at first was very good at explaining things and gave me the hopes I was looking for and then all of a sudden she was lacking of communication as well as her team. I even had to call her manager and never heard from him either. I had to be after them to tell me every step of it and what is going. Once they needed me to do something I did it right away but when I needed answers to my questions, it was really frustrating. I refinanced my home to pull equity out as it was needed to make changes to my home. My wife had become handicapped and I had to add stair chairs and other equipment that she now required. My overall experience with Mutual of Omaha was terrible. Several mistakes were made on my original application by my loan officer Rene Jutla. A person should just treat people the way they would want to be treated and listen. With the idea "If you can't say anything good you should say nothing at all". We will not bad mouth anyone. There were only two women that really took care of us the way it should have been done.

Speed to action when passed from Renu to other members like Eric. He seem to sit on assigned items, no response on phone etc. ultimately, I had to jump in and get things sorted. In the end, it became a bigger chaos w/ lack of communication and Melanie only helping to close the loan
