We have refinanced many times in the past and we have never had one take as long as this one did nor have as many issues. We even had to pay for another termite letter as they couldn't get one office to work with the another to keep it moving. Very dissatisfied.

We were told a few things that didn't go through like we were told. We didn't want the loan as a new loan on a new house. At the time we set it up we didn't know which house we were buying. She said that we had to give her an address. I have been told that isn't something that you need. We were taken a second out on our home. We weren't sure at the time if we were even purchasing a place. After a few contacts she didn't seem so pleasant

Each individual that we dealt with was wonderful, however, the system seems to be quite inefficient. I would not ding any of the players as much as the system. We were asked numerous times for the same information and due to a staffing change, our process was delayed. Kudos to Julie, Barbara, et al.... Thumbs down to the inefficient system that took 4 months to process due to system limitations. All humans were great.

Renu was always easy to reach and that was great. But the amount of time it took to be clear about all the paperwork required was not great. It often took a whole week to hear we needed one more thing and another week to hear one more thing again several times.

the lack of communication when an agent left the firm . I had to initiate a response. The subsequent agents tried their best to bring about a favorable outcome. will see how it finally turns out,hoping for the best.

I know these are difficult times for everyone, but it took 8 months to refinance my mother's condo. I can't begin to explain how frustrating this process was. Although It ended well, the process was most unpleasant due to a never ending series of delays involving everyone at Mutual of Omaha. I hate leaving such a negative review, but it was unbelievably fraught with misinformation and a lack of communication.

The communication during this process was lackluster. I had believed we would close in December, and then would have 2 months before a payment was due. Any time things stalled, I had to ask about the process rather than having a Renu or others reach out to me. I should have known each step of the way what was happening. I should have been told closing wouldn't happen in December. I never was until I reached out due to concern as I hadn't heard anything. I had 2 questions go unanswered
