Brian has skills, but it really depends on his mood when you visit. For the most part it will be inconsistent. Worse customer service ever, and if you complain you will receive the most inappropriate responses you have ever seen. Much better places for the same prices with more skillful barbers and better service overall. just read the low google reviews and his responses.
I left a google review for this business already, but one Google review doesn't do it justice for me. I want to leave another great review for this place because their customer service is excellent. Bryan and Deborah truly care about their clients. They make sure you are well taken care of. Very terrible experience. The barber station and quite the whole barbershop were not hygienic. The barber used a razor with so much pressure that made almost bled. Besides I requested one style of hair and they delivered another one. I tried to call the shop at (512) 906-1474 to complain after got home because my neck was red and a very bad rash, but the phone was disconnected. I sent an email but never got a return. went in with a perm curtain bangs and a mullet. asked to take half an inch off and taper fade on the sides. left with straight hair and 80s mullet.
Brian is the man! I don't really understand some of the reviews on here saying that he's not good at his job, because my experience was excellent and the cut was exactly what I wanted. Just a PSA for anyone that wants a good haircut... it's better to show a barber an actual image of what you want rather than explaining with your words. After having issues with other barber shops my whole life I happily discovered Brian! I've been seeing him for haircuts for years now and I have always been happy. Go try him out!
Great quality haircut every time. The shops ambiance and style is awesome as well. I've rarely ever had to wait more than a couple of minutes for my appointment time.
Visited shop for haircut. I tried to explain to male barber (Brian) how I wanted my hair done. He started cutting on one side then quit...unbelievable. Took off apron and refused to finish. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. I really advise that this is not a good place for a haircut of any type or style. Brian's attitude is very bad, almost insulting...not sure why he chose this line of work...he is not very good at it...customers, beware.
I have been coming to get a haircut from Brian for years. He always does a great job! Easy to book an appointment online. Retro's location is very convenient to downtown Round Rock.
