My hip replacement follow up visit with Dr. Rutherford was totally satisfactory. He spent as much time as was necessary to make sure that all of my questions were answered. At each of my meetings with him, he has remained thorough and attentive and always gives me complete confidence in his expertise and the success of my procedure. The entire EmergeOrtho team is very patient focused. I will always go with Emerge for any future orthopedic needs.
He was pleasant and did not make you feel like he was rushed. Answered all my questions and worked with me regarding best plan going forward including medication and tests.
DrRutherford talked with me at length and gave me several options for treatment. All staff from front office, med assistants, xray techs were very helpful and kept me advised of progress of my visit
Great staff that appears to listen and care about the patient. Along with a comfortable lobby that is clean and filled with pleasant decor.
Dr. Rutherford, Jr. was very thorough during my appointment. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding my medical issue. We developed a plan and set everything up right away. I would highly recommend him.
I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both knees. I know 2 women who raved about the knee replacement surgery that Dr. Rutherford performed on them. I made an appointment and am also impressed with how much time he spent with me and discussed my options. Will have my 1st knee replacement next October and in the interim, will have gel injections.
Had a wonderful visit. I felt that Dr. Rutherford listened to my concerns, was very empathetic to my issues and helped me develop a great plan moving forward. He reviewed the radiology report with me, and we discussed it in depth. He is a great educator, and obviously wants to make sure that his patients feel that they are very well taken care of. This is a physician who seems to be in it for the right reasons. I would highly recommend him.
After months of a prolonged discovery process with a large and well respective provider, I got a second opinion at EmergeOrtho for my hip pain. At the initial appointment with Dr. Rutherford, he was able to immediately identify the need for a hip replacement. All interactions with EmergeOtho personnel were pleasent, timely and professional. Dr. Richard Rutherford is a wonderful, sincere and caring doctor. He thoroughly reviewed with me the development of my injury, explained all of the X-rays taken, as well as any other pains in the knee joints previous to this problems. He is warm, very smart, knows how to explain things in a professional manner and respects the patient’s intelligence.. He also is interested in his patients personal background.”.
