Dr. Rutherford did an excellent job with a hip replacement and continues to provide knowledgeable and kind care for the other hip. Always personable and friendly in addition to providing top notch care. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Rutherford did an amazing knee replacement surgery upon my elderly mother’s insistence 3 yrs ago and she did extremely well postoperative and ambulated with confidence in a few months.It is my turn for knee replacements after decades post injuries, activelifestyle, and of course Dr Rutherford is my 1st choice surgeon. Dr. Rutherford was good about answering my questions and discussing the upcoming procedure. As I had this procedure in the past, I somewhat knew what I was getting into. Future appointments were made for me and to fit my schedule too. All personnel were friendly and professional.
I have seen Dr. Rutherford twice concerning my knee and hip problems. He explained why I was having trouble walking; the cause of my pain and my treatment options. He’s an excellent physician and communicator.
Dr. Rutherford and his team helped me walk again with a successful hip surgery. My stay at NCSH was comfortable and the service exceptional. Emerge PT for me was extremely competent. I am coming up on my one year visit with Dr. Rutherford and can’t wait for him to see how well it’s turned out. I had known for some time that I would need one (or both) knees replaced. The time had come, and Dr. Rutherford came highly recommended by several medical professionals. He spent a lot of time with me, explaining the procedure and post-op process. I have had an incredibly smooth post-op course.
