I was seen on time. Staff courteous, friendly, professional. Tests performed quickly, efficiently. Dr. Rutherford went over test results with me, showed me x-rays and explained in detail all results. Spoke in easy to understand manner and performed physical tests with explanation of results of my movements.

I highly recommend Dr Rutherford. He performed a total knee replacement for me in July and I could not be more pleased with his knowledge, skill and compassion. He took time to thoroughly explain the many why, what and how questions that I had. 5 stars!!
Marked pain in my knee and hip sent me to Emerge Ortho. Dr Rutherford was available for an appointment. My symptpms were not typical of those of his patients, but he accepted me with care and concern. After many procedures and surgery , my unexpected diagnoses are Osteomyelitis of the femur and Septic arthritis of the knee. He referred me then to Infectious Disease for treatment. This bacteria could have taken my life! Dr. Richard Rutherford is my hero and i am thankful to be in his care!
Dr. Rutherford's bedside manner is exceptional. Seemed truly concerned with my issues. Explained everything thiroughly and on my level. Highly recommend.
