Dr.Rutherford,is a wonderful doctor,,detailed in explaining before and after surgery, and caring.
Very thorough and conscientious. He listens to the patient, answers your questions, and makes sure you understand.
Dr. Rutherford is a very kind and professional orthopedic specialist. During each of my multiple visits, he did not rush in and out, he listened and was patient with my questions as I best tried to understand and absorb information about my possible diagnosis. I appreciate his genuine ability to care about his patients' health, healing process and overall well-being. I like that he doesn't rush into surgery options, but encourages our treatments first. I highly recommend Dr. Rutherford!!

He was very professional and personable. He asked questions so he could understand my future plans and how to fit his recommendations in the scope of my life. He spoke of options and then gave his recommendations which changed after unsuspected MRI results. He went over the films and reports to make sure I understood. He did not push an agenda and answered all my questions including questions about new and experimental approaches. He’s great.
I’m very pleased with Dr. Rutherford. He is professional but easy to talk to, listens well, and is the first orthopedic surgeon to have given me relief in my knee in years. He also understands and explained the issues I am having. I’m glad to have found my new surgeon.
Excellent doctor...thorough, kind and caring. Doesn’t rush through exams, is informative and truly listens to your concerns. Everyone is amazed at my speedy recovery from total hip replacement...I’m grateful to Dr. Rutherford and highly recommend him to my friends in need of great surgeon.
