My wife and I were visiting Milwaukee and wanted a nice meal away from the downtown area where we stayed. This fit the bill perfectly. The menu is very interesting and has dishes that suit any palate. We had the rigatoni with eggplant and mozzarella as a first course, it was very good. For our second course my wife had the filet and I had a daily special red snapper. Both dishes were superb and the portions generous, but not too much. Enjoyable evening spent with friends who were new to the restaurant. Very nice setting in 'Tosa, attentive service, solid if unspectacular entrees. Tiramisu is unsurpassed. One item of note--this fine Italian eatery has no sausage available. They used to serve a garganelli with sweet Italian sausage that was to die for.
The four of us loved it. The food was great and the service was impeccable. A little pricey - $300 incl. tax and tip but it was a special occasion so why not?
The scallops and seafood spaghetti on the tasting menu were fabulous. Natalie was brilliant as always!

As usual, I opted for the prix fixe four course menu and it was outstanding. The unique minestrone was the best ever, the gnocchi was superb and the lamb shank so tender and favorful it was hard to believe. My wife had the first two prix fixe courses and a ceasar salad, which has the best dressing of any we've tried. And, of course,the ambiance and service were outstanding. We aren't on this side of town very often, so we don't dine here as much as we would otherwise. However, we found ourselves in Wauwatosa for a concert, and came here for dinner afterwards. It was an absolutely lovely meal. The food and the service were outstanding. We enjoyed every minute. Our only regret is that we were too full to order dessert! Thank you Ristorante for an amazing evening!
I'm hoping to visit and enjoy each Bartolotta restaurant in the Milwaukee area. The food and service have been top notch at the 3 I've visited so far. This Ristorante that is downtown TOSA has moved to the top of the list as a place to visit again soon.
This was our second time at Bartollota's and its rare that a restaurant exceeds my previous experience. The food was absolutely divine and the service incredible.
