A very nice dinner for my wife and I. Less crowded Thursday night was a benefit and the food choice allowed something different from the normal fare of steak and potatoe. We both enjoyed it very much.

When in America, if an Italian dessert is done poorly, it is horrible. When done properly it is exquisite. Batolotta's Ricotta cake was beyond wonderful. It was a perfect work of sweetness and texture. That being said, the Sicilian veal cutlet was a bit salty, overdone and a little greasy. The Broccoli Rabe balanced out what the veal desperately needed. Service, as always, was impeccable. We are looking forward to May's Lombardy region feature.
Ristorante Bartolotta is one of our favorites. The food is outstanding. The service is attentive, but never overly so. It's a great place to bring out-of-town guests because it's always so head and shoulders above other restaurants. All of the Bartolotta restaurants are gems, but this one is our favorite.
A favorite of ours. We live in Kansas and (sadly) can only dine here about 3 times per year -- when we visit family and friends. Have told Ristorante Bartolotta staff to pick the Kansas City area if they want to expand into a new market.
lovely dining experience!
We've been going to Bartalotta's for years, but this time we were very disappointed. We each ordered our favorite meals, and they were not even close to as good as they'd been in the past. Also, the waitress suggested a glass of wine for my husband -- because they didn't have any merlot by the glass -- never mentioning that it would cost $26. Great experience. We arrived early and the hostess graciously seated us early. Wonderful meal and great attentive service. So nice!
