One of our favorites. Lovely, if often rich, Italian food. Knowledgeable servers, inventive dishes, fine ingredients. We love the beef carpaccio with capers and coarse salt.
Service was amazing! Loved the food, loved the wine, and loved the atmosphere. A perfect evening out w/ friends.
Excellent service. Smaller menu focused on simple but elegant classic Italian food. Extensive wine list. Helpful and friendly staff.
My husband & I have been to this restaurant already several times this year. We have never had better service, food & wine..
Ristorante Bartolotta is one of my favorite spots to go. I have never had a bad meal and the service is always fantastic. I have and would reccomend Ristorante to everyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. The new spring menu is excellent.
We had a fabulous evening at Bartolotta's in Tosa this past Monday! Our waiter was exceptional.....funny, well versed in all entrees, wine, etc....and made us feel comfortable with our timing - as we wanted to talk for awhile with wine/drinks before we ordered. Actually he was amazing with the descriptions of the menu and the 3 course offering that they have. (sorry we don't remember his name!). The spring special four course meal was outstandin; the most tasty we've had in several dining experiences at Ristorante Bartolotta. Likewise the wine recommendation from Mark could not have been better: a rare, red varietal, which was new to us, had soft tannins and a perfect blend of fruit with a long, wonderful finish. Good, but not the "great" I've come to expect from Bartollata restaurants. Pasta first course was a disapointment. I'd go again though. I felt that Roots and Hinterlands were both better.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. It is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for: excellent food and service.
