Overall restaurant maintenence and cleanliness needs to be addressed. The wall hangnings and lighting fixtures were dusty and dirty. The food is the main attraction with decor and service taking a backseat. Eager to try other establishments in town before returning.
our dining experience at Ristorante Bartolotta was exemplary. The food was unique yet satisfying. The servers were knowledgeable and accommodating. While it is a fairly expensive restaurant diners would be well served by signing up for the bartolotta reward card so that they can accumulate points good for gift certificates. that way they can enjoy another meal in the future at a discounted price.
The food was rather disappointing. 2 different entrees - one even was a special of the day - 'fell short' of expectations. The service was very good.
Fabulous, the food superb, the waiter(Michael)friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, the wine great! Best calamari I have ever had.
i only wish the menu was slightly larger. everything was great. quaint little town, nice outdoor seating area and overall a nice experience.
While overall OK, it was not as good as we remembered it to be. The food presentations lacked something and seemed ordinary rather than extraordinary.
We had a wonderful time. Food was geat, great service and they were very accomodating with the kids. We were meeting out of town guests that have had many years in the restaurant buisness and they were very pleased as well. Job well done. Thank you!!!
Wait staff not especially attentive. Two waitresses for our table with their backs to us spent time on several occasions talking with bartender. Unless we had gotten up and walked over to them, there was no way we could have gotten their attention. What they lacked in attention, they made up for with their enthusiasm. I just wish we hadn't had to wait so long so often. Food excellent. Wine was too. Mon and tues eve wine bottles $100 or less are half price! We will return when we're in Milwaukee again.
