My favorite restaurant in Milwaukee.
This was our first time and we choode the sampler special. The antipasto was great and we had one of each. The risotta was devine. The 2nd did not live up to the first two courses. We had the meat entree not the eel and it was tender but tasteless. The dessert was also excellent. Servers were very attentive. The food would have rated outstanding if not for that bad experience with the 2nd.
One of the best restaurants in the Milwaukee area. Great wine list but a little on the pricey side.
I really enjoyed the authentic itallian cuisine experience, but felt uncomfortable about my seating and the lack of a quiet dining experience. My table was very small and unstable, and I felt like I was shouting at my date for most of the evening. The service is impeckable and I really appreciated the lengths the wait staff went to making my experience appreciative.
The waiter knew the menu and wine list very well. The food was superb, the service could have been just a touch more attentive and coordinated (hence the four stars). My salmon was tasty but had been under the warmer for a little too long. The other five meals seemed just right though.
We had a group of 7 and everyone had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed their food. My only complaint is that sometimes it took too long for us to be able to order the next course. For example, after dinner, we said we wanted to order dessert and it took 25 minutes for us to get dessert menus.
The fillet was one of the best I had.

Excellent food and service as always. The risoto was the best food I have ever tasted. We thing it is Romantic but can be moderate for noise, but that is part of the great atmosphere. A true Italian restaurant is not quite either! Can't wait to go back!!!
