This is my favorite Milwaukee restautant. I've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Seasonal menus and menus from different areas of Italy add variety. It's always hard to make a choice.
Fantastic food, well-prepared. Not run-of-the-mill Italian with gloppy sauces and over-salted food. Great balance of flavors, menu sensitive to the season. Team service was attentive, but not intrusive. Pace a little slow, but did allow us to enjoy our meal. The restaurant is very loud...tough, I'd think, to coverse if you have hearing loss. Food was very good. Great service and will go back again.
We enjoyed are experience very much. We also very much enjoyed meeting Joe Bartolotta.
Both visits of recent 2 months the ceiling fans were set too high and the section we were seated in was uncomfortably cool. The first visit we asked to have the fan set slower, this time we just endured it.
Always an enjoyable meal.
