I recently had to have my cat put to sleep and this was the most kind and caring vet's office I have ever been to. The vet tech and the vet were both compassionate and were concerned with both my family and my cat. It showed that they knew that she was a part of her family and her passing would be difficult. As far as the office itself, it was clean, everyone was nice and helpful and I was very impressed with the facility.
The vets at Riverbank have always been the ones to care for my animals, even when I have lived hours from Kinston...it's been worth the drive for the care and attention that they have given to my animals. Their costs have always remained low in comparison to the treatment that my furry family members have received! Thank you Dr. Randall & Dr. Garren!!
I've normally had good experiences here, but today was unacceptable. The environment was chaotic, and the staff were not helpful. A staff member called our dog's name, told us to weigh him, then walked away without assistance. My husband and I are allergic to cats and were already having reactions--we had been sitting outside because of this--but no one gave us guidance or told us to step back out once she returned and took our dog without explaining anything. Let me say riverbank has been my vet since we moved here in 2021.. well After several conversations I wanted to do a blood test to confirm pregnancy...so we drive 40 miles and do a test ...well they quoted me wrong price and did the wrong test an then did not want to refund me...they did offer to do the test free....after I paid for the higher priced wrong test....after some back an forth an mentioned breeder...they offered a partial refund which they supposedly did an exam...Hopefully on the my dog....I agreed they did this... read more
I'm going to say this with all honesty. I had 10 dogs I have 9 now. i sent my precious baby in for a check up and she came home in a box LITERALLY! my heart is broken and this is not fake! I dont know what happened I wasn't there but my baby went in breathing and left out not breathing. Those are facts! They have something against bullies and pit bulls. They were rude and inconsiderate when I spoke with them. I'm done with them. AT YOUR OWN RISK! Send a prayer for my baby Amore please

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!! I brought my dog in for simple dental work and they almost performed a surgery on her meant for another dog. They didn't realize their mistake until after they had shaved her down and prepped her for surgery. They claimed there was another dog with her exact name and looked exactly like her and that is how they made the mistake...my dog is a mutt with very distinct markings. Took my Doberman there for ear cropping . Look like they used shears to do it with. Went to pick him up, they brought him to me still bleeding and advised not to cover them until the next day just hold pressure until the bleeding stopped . Charged me $638.00 and had to take him to "Nash Animal Hospital " when they fixed Riverbanks screwup ! Lawyer said I could file but I'm not that type of person !
they suck and only care about the money the pets are nothing more than money makers don't waste your time and go to bank and draw your money from your saving. These people don't care about your pets my dog is dying from a severe tooth infection and they refused care because I questioned their post op care which they do not have unless you have money.of I could have given a 0 I would have.if I could I would blow the place up wishful thinking but who knows what someone else would do. That's how bad they are
