Never consistent. Sometimes the pizzas are delicious and other times (like yesterday) they are the wrong order and burned to a crisp. I have been a Rosati's fan since I was a kid and was super excited when then came to OP. They really need to pull it together or this place will never make it. We are giving them one more try and then, will lose our business.
PIZZA NAZIS: This Rosati's is one of the better tasting locations, never been disappointed by their food. True to form for me, reading all of my reviews...it's all about the customer interaction. When this place first opened reasonable wait times on delivery and food was good quality. Now I do not recommend after 2 hour wait on semi-warm food.
It seems that some businesses forget how many people consult Yelp. But, even so, it shouldn't take negative reviews on Yelp to motivate a business to provide good customer service. My wife and I tried Rosati's for the first time by ordering 2 pizzas for delivery. To their credit, the delivery was prompt. Order #123 on 9/28. Order placed at 6pm, pizza came at 7:40p cold. Unacceptable delivery time. Won't be ordering again.
* I never updated my review of what happened after I posted this review. Shortly, after the manager, Brian, posted the extremely rude comment below giving me a link to the Mayo Clinic about how food from Rosati's could not have possibly been the food to make us sick, my boyfriend had talked to him on the phone. I'm sorry to hear of your illness, but instead of jumping to the worst possible conclusion and misinforming people it would have been good for you to do some research and provide some facts. 1) You ordered a green pepper and pepperoni pizza, the pepperoni is precooked, so there was NO raw meat in your order. 2) Our dough is not prepared with eggs, so there is NO raw material in the dough. 3) Food borne bacteria is killed off at 165 degrees, our oven cooks at 500 degrees. 4) All of our deep dish pizzas are set to timers (40... read more
Absolutely ridiculous delivery time. Ordered a 12 in pizza at 5:43 pm and did not receive delivery until 7:30 pm. Done with Rosati's. If you can't delivery timely then don't offer delivery. Should have gone with dominos.
The pizza was good when they got it right but my experience here left a such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm not coming back here. First, I went in there to order and wait for a 12in thin crust pizza, in other places thats a 10-15min wait and here I'm told its a 30min wait (as if this was a dine-in establishment). Rosati's Oak Park is a disaster IMO. They're delivery is always late, sometimes very late. My most recent attempt resulted in me getting the wrong pizza altogether but it was on time for a change. I sent the pizza back and called the restaurant. Whoever answered the phone initially refused to let me speak to the manager. When I did finally speak to the manager she was not concerned in the least. I'm pretty sure she didn't even apologize. My credit card has not been credited and my email to Rosati's has been ignored.
