We have shared a really lovely, very tasty, lunch with our Mum and Grandma, a positive sitting in The Winning Post Pub, followed by a game of darts. High praise for the chef and the staff who so kindly set this experience up for us. We felt very much at home here. Thank you.

Our experience of Ruby Lodge has been outstanding from start to finish. We cannot praise the staff or facilities highly enough. Residents are treated with the utmost care and dignity. There is always something for residents to enjoy and the way the staff includes residents in the local community through activity days is a joy to see. There simply aren't enough words to praise RL enough. A very, very special place indeed!

My grandad is absolutely thriving since moving into Ruby Lodge. The care he is receiving is impeccable, the team accommodate his schedule and encourages his independence and daily activities that make him feel like himself. They run amazing activities such as the Christmas fete that I attended which had a lovely atmosphere and was so nice for the residents and family to all take part in. We experienced Ruby Lodge Care Home's fine dining to celebrate our mum's birthday. The food was excellent and we particularly enjoyed our dessert. We were all made to feel special - can highly recommend the experience for celebrating such occasions. We are so pleased we chose Ruby Lodge for our mum. She looks really settled and happy and the staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.

It wasn't an easy decision to place Mum in residential care but even with care at home (including an attempt with live-in care) it was clear that her needs were not being met. We looked at a number of homes but an impromptu visit to Ruby Lodge, after a planned visit to a different home that shall remain unnamed, helped make the decision a bit easier. My 94-year-old Father has recently moved into Ruby Lodge and received a lovely warm welcome - everyone is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. He is really enjoying himself and has been busy with different activities each day - just what he needs. He is encouraged to retain his independence whilst also being supported at all times when needed. Ruby Lodge is a new home and the facilities and food are fabulous. In difficult and emotional circumstances I have been dealt with with kindness, understanding, and professionalism at all times. My husband has been in here for respite and he was happy and comfortable throughout. The staff have made the whole thing easier to deal with.

We are very pleased with how well my Mum has settled after only four weeks. The staff (some of whom are already known to her) have been so welcoming. The atmosphere at Ruby Lodge is upbeat, happy, fun, and all-inclusive. We are pleased with how the scope of activities has developed so quickly (the home has only been open for a couple of months).
