We like the Saltlik and go there often. The last couple of times the hasn't been up to par.
Fantastic cuts of meat, just like the Banff location. Was disappointed that the lobster mashed potatoes were not the same, and the lobster meat had a weird pureed texture. The dry ribs app blew me away, and I feel like the restaurant did a great job elevating dry ribs.
Saltlik has always been the go-to steakhouse in Calgary next to Ceaser's and The Keg. Unfortunately Calgary can't find good people for service and Saltlik has the same issues. Server said he'd rather be outside than helping serve, and the meal came with some mistakes, but really it was a good experience. Worst experience personally for me at Saltlik, but that's because they are always 5 out 5. This night they were a 3-4. Not a big deal. Great food. Certified Alberta Beef (CAB), can't go wrong with this place.

Food, service and variety of menu always a pleaser, usually I eat there for business lunches. Sometimes it can be loud but a small price to pay for being a choice destination
First time at Saltlik, for our anniversary, using a gift card received from a friend. Service was excellent, food very good to excellent. Little on the expensive side but probably appropriate for the location, service, and quality of food. Will definitely return if in the area again.
Food was really good. Service and reception was good. A bit too noisy for my liking and not cheap for sure. Overall good experience. .
Saltlik was a good experience overall. The food was exceptional!! I had Ahi Tuna Tacos for an appetizer. It was the best I have ever had. My dinner date had the dry ribs and they were awesome. We both had the filet for our main course. It would have been nice to have a vegetable besides a just a potato. All the food we ordered was unbelievable. The restaurant was too loud. I asked if they could turn the music down and they did. They were very respectful. Overall a good dining experience!!
Beautiful atmosphere, great service, wish I was aware of how hard it was to find parking. One guest that was to dine with us drove around for fifty minutes ended up going home. Where you Would recommend good parking should be on your website. Especially for those who don't know much about downtown. Friendly waiter, delicious food although chips for dip were way too salty. First visit for me.....I would recommend to others.
