We went to Saltlik to celebrate my Daughters birthday today since it's her favourite restaurant. She's 8 so the restaurant is very kid friendly. All of our meals were beyond excellent! The steak is one of the best I've had, very tender. And the service was excellent. Our family will definitely be back.
8 women celebrating their 65 birthdays this year came for dinner some of us knowing each other from grade 1 and the others from junior high. We had not seen each other for quite some time and the Saltlik was a perfect place to reconnect. The service was perfect and the food and wine too. We were seated at a round table which made it easy for us all to visit. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the great experience.

Friend and I split a steak. They cut up each steak in to pieces ! Restaurant was not very busy so they tried to put everyone in the same sections when they had lots of room elsewhere. Should let people have some privacy if it is available.
Fabulous dinner. We were in town for the last day of our vacation. It was a memorable ending. Steaks were cooked correctly and the apple pie was excellent.

Had dinner with a number of business friends. The steak was outstanding as was the service. I go back again and again if we lived in Calgary. It was simply a great dining experience and would recommend to anybody looking for a great steak in downtown Calgary!
We have eaten at the Saltlik in Banff and had a wonderful experience, so we were excited to take our family to the Calgary location. The food was all extremely salty. Had to send two steaks back for being undercooked. Another came with so much fat on it that a lot was inedible. Portion sizes were good, vegetables were cooked to perfection, except for the salt. We expected a much better dining experience based on past experience and the price.
Very good experience overall, very good food, amazing flavor, only negative was the Hunter Chicken dish was quite slim on the amount of mashed potatoes.
