We came to eat here after leaving Chicago Chophouse due to abysmal service.The chicago rare ribeye was done perfectly and the service was great. The restaurant was much busier here than at Chicago Chophouse and the ambiance much nicer. Highly recommend for steak lovers.
The experience at Saltlik is okay. The food is okay, the service is okay and the ambience is okay. It is about average for a downtown restaurant. Nothing spectacular but it was fine.
It is a good place for business lunch chat.
I have been to Saltlik before and thought it was good, so we thought to book it for a group celebrating an occasion. We ordered an appetizer which came out great, and then when we got to our entrees, we had issues with the entrees. Our steaks were over cooked. I mentioned this to the server, who brought out the manager and immediately the manager was apoligetic and did everything in her power to fix this. Was not as it used to be. Half of our orders were not cooked as requested.
Courteous, attentive staff & great food for lunch. Rare to find in downtown Calgary these days.
We had a great time there. I had the babyback ribs and my wife had the haibut. We both enjoyed our meals very much.
Fantastic steaks at a reasonable price. Definitely will be back.
I was very disappointed that this "Steak House" did not even offer a Steak sandwich for lunch or a Steak Salad. Pretty big ommission on the menu.
