I had the crispy chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes and the chicken was fantastic. It was incredibly crispy but not oily whatsoever and the inside was moist. The mashed potatoes were tasty but drowning in sour cream. Next time I would request that the sour cream be put on the side. Yes, there will be a next time!
LOVE the chocolate lava cake dessert - always my main reason for going to Saltlik. Food is always good.
Had the chicken salad. Lettuce was a bit limp and the cheese bland. Not terrible but worth mentioning.
Amazing attentive service!! Did not disappoint! The staff were eager to please offering suggestions and so friendly! Made sure we had our food made to order and it was delicious! When our appetizer was not Quite right they were quick to Respond and fix it!! Apologized for the wait... Although we did not wait long in our opinion for our drinks or food and it was a packed house... Not our first visit but we were very pleased with the above and beyond service this visit for sure! We will definitely be back!!
This place has good potential, however our service was noticeably slower than that of other tables. We had not made any special requests of any kind and could see no reason for the service. As well one of our guests was informed that the meal they ordered was not available, about a half hour after placing the order. On the plus side, staff was friendly and our entrees were complimentary on this occasion as the staff recognized the problems. This was much appreciated as it was not asked for, nor expected by any of our guests.
Great food and impeccable service.
Convenient downtown location was only 1/2 block from our hotel, and within 1-2 blocks of numerous other hotels. We started with the calamari. Delicious!! Nice, mild and extremely tender, we all loved it. A side of aioli can be requested for dipping. My wife's petit filet was cooked medium well to perfection and outstanding. My medium rare rib eye was very good, might have been better medium for a bit more tenderness. The food is really good.
SaltLik itself was a very nice restaurant, however, the crowd that was there were lazy and under-dressed. I found that this greatly took away from the experience. However, the delicious food and our fabulous waitress made up for it! YUM STEAK!
