It was alright - there were a couple of things throughout the night that we didn't expect given how much we were paying for our meal and drinks. I.e. the steaks were cold, the "loaded" baked potatos came with hardly any toppings, they didn't have the fixins for a standard chocolate martini, they didn't have my updates to my reservation that i had called in the same day. Overall we had a nice time as we were a fun group, but the restaurant wasn't really on par with others of the same calibre.
We have been to the Saltlik before, except this time the noise level was improved - maybe it was due to our sitting in a booth vs a table. The decor is great and the staff are exceptional and courteous and are always close by.
Great food and ambiance, friendly efficient staff
We really enjoyed our dinner there. I had a steak, it was melt in your mouth and the lobster mashed potatoes were awesome! My date had a steak as well and baked potato. He liked his but was expecting the green peppercorn sauce but it was a creamier version. Our dessert was amazing - the apple pie. Overall a good experience, the waitress was really good and our drinks were never empty. We would definitely go there again.

As opposed to most reviews complaining about slow service, ours was at the other end. It appears as if the server's mandate was to get us out as quickly as possible before the next sitting. Food was fine, typically on the expensive side, as with most restaurants in this city, especially on Stephen Ave.
