went with a group .....my order wrong.....bar did not know what cointreau was ....got a martini??? then they got it right....
Great steak house and maybe Calgary's best ribs. The service is always very friendly. This evening the both the sirlion and ribeye were over cooked, we asked for rare and got medium. The wine is also served to warm and pre-chilling is recommended.
The service was exceptional. We really enjoyed that the waiting staff helped each other out and they were all outgoing and friendly. Would visit again.
Awesome steak at a high end stake house with a very reasonable price.... Highly recommended.
Had a lunch reservation for 11:30, food was delicious and served promptly. The server was very attentive. I had the Spaghetti and Kobe meatballs and it was fantastic. Heartily recommend this place for a lunch.
If you like big box restaurants like the Keg etcetera then you'll probably love this place. I was looking for something with more atmosphere and a wider palate then what is offered here. I went work my wife while we were in Calgary for the night and we were seated in an area that was right out in the high traffic area although I booked in advance and the restaurant was right next to empty. In Calgary I find service to be lacking at a lot of places but not at Saltlik. Our service was very attentive to us and made great recommendations. They also rushed our food so that we could be out of resturant in time to make the Fleetwood Mac concert. The food is second to none. Great value for your money.
Saltlik has wonderful food. We were all impressed by the quality of our meals. But we made it known we had theatre tickets at 7:30 and were all seated shortly after 6. Our mains were not served until after 7, and then by us reminding our server. It was just too rushed.
Good food. But the service was so slow. We had our drinks after 15-20 minutes after ordering them.
