Was shopping for an amp for my electric guitar. At Sam Ash they let you plug into them and try them out with your own guitar or one of theirs. Unlike internet shopping you can try things out. The prices are the same as Amazon's, but you get to drive home with it instead of waiting for shipping. Most helpful were Mike DeSoto and Jack Wochele in the guitar department, who are always full of good suggestions for someone new to the guitar like me. To Sam Ash, King of Prussia Earlier this year I had a problem with my PA system breaking down. It was a Sampson expedition PA & the mixer had blown, to make matters worse my warranty for repair had just expired. I was informed I may have to pay full coverage for the repair and also be aware that it might not be able to be repaired at all. Sam did a great job fixing my guitar. He does beautiful work and is helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasant person with whom to work.
It's very rare these days to go into stores where the employees are actually knowledgeable about the products they are selling. Usually the person you ask for help isn't qualified (or willing) to answer your questions, or will tell you things that you know are incorrect, and tell you with the utmost confidence. San is the man set up in less then a week
The staff there is always very friendly and helpful. A few months ago my DJ mixer broke and I was in to look for another one, unfortunately there wasn't any there I could use so Alex sent me to a guy in Ardmore to get mine fixed. Now that's working but my recording device fritzed out so both Zachary and Alex worked together to find me the proper equipment to use with my outdated mixer. Thanks so much for the help!
