Good place understaffed some assisted living not given , Thank you dinning room employees and staff , executive director has been verry helpful with my medical stuff and solving problems i get and talking to me about it
The facility is very clean. The studio my Dad had was beautiful. I especially loved the senior walk in shower. The staff was very nice. My Dad has problems with hearing. So once a week I or my sister would ask the staff to bring my Dad a note with the times para transit was coming to pick him up for church. I forgot the lady's name at the front desk but I will never forgot how kind and patient she was with us. I am most grateful for the support I received when searching for a place for my Dad. My mom has been at this facility for almost 2 years. She is verry quiet and not very social, but the staff have made great efforts to include her in activities and have her socialize which has been good for her mental health. She has had too many unwitnessed falls and the staff have gone to great lengths to figure out how to avoid them. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the other residents seem genuinely happy to be at the facility. Any requests I have made were taken care of in a timely manner. I’m very happy that my children found San Leandro Senior Living. After my husband passed in[Date Removed], I was living alone in San Francisco, and none of my children lived in the City. When I was hospitalized in [Date Removed], it was apparent that I could no longer live and care for my self. My children searched the Bay Area for suitable and affordable housing for me. Very helpful in what you need or questions. Small one bedroom apartment. kitchenet and living area same room. Microwave,two burner stove top. No stove. Full frig. Cabinet space limited. 2 Closets are fine. Overall fits me fine.
