People on the phone couldn't speak English fluently .. kept using words that didn't apply to my questions and felt like they were spinning you in circles.. I was getting irritated but still kept my cool and actually was hung up on. My girlfriend who went there was put in an unacceptable situation. There are different floors for the different levels of extremity yet their beds will fill thus combine people who shouldn't be combined.. all the place did was cause a bigger headache and bigger debt.
We had a terrible experience here. Every person we spoke to gave me a different answer and passes the blame. They stated " I don't know why they (the person I spoke to before) said that." This hospital is operating like a car dealership. "Let me check with my manager." They will say anything to get you in the door, make you wait around, then say there is a problem with your insurance. After I offered to pay the full amount if our insurance denied the claim, they finally agreed to take my wife in. We were told she would ... read more
This was my 4th time here and it was a different and a horrible experience this time. Something major has changed here!!!!! I came in voluntarily each time for help and it was the best hospital but not anymore. First, When did this place become an unofficial homeless shelter????? It is horrible for those of us who are invested in therapy and treatment to be surrounded by others that are here for free meals and drugs and reek! KIM you are right staff there is not very friendly. Especially the social workers who are so new to the profession and act as if they really care. My brother was admitted a few months ago and they kept him for a month because his insurance was soooooo good they could keep him there and charge his insurance for the stay. The social worker supposedly assigned to him never called us back and was very rude and unprofessional after showing up in the lobby. A family member was here. We went to visit and the personal working there were not helpful or friendly. The facility was very cold and institutional like. I was concerned about my relatives well being. She said that she would not eat the food served it was so bad. A frightening experience just to visit! And terrible instructions to get there. Kim B
