DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. This hospital is just a really expensive babysitter. They do nothing to help your child overcome their emotions, depression and suicidal thoughts. They only provide a "safe place where they cannot harm themselves." They send you off with no transitional care. They contract out with numerous doctors and providers. Highly not recommend. All this place is, is a business that feeds off the money. When the money's gone, they'll discharge their patient telling the parents and family that he's fine. But how is he fine when you had to sedate him the day before because he was spiraling? It's illogical. And simply what one one expect from a behavior and mental health facility in Las Vegas -- it's all about the money and money driven. This hospital is the worst ever!!!! You will only see your doctor for five minutes a day if that. It's more of a cattle call for insurance payments than for actual patient care and future betterment. The food, if that is what you can call is is barely edible. If you have a child in the facility and scheduled to be released that day, the financial lady, Christine, will call you to make sure you have your money ready to give them on the way out. I was recently admitted here and had a horrible experience. This place is only for drugging ppl up and keeping them as long as they can to collect more money from the insurance companies. The longer you stay the bigger the payout for them! Dr. Ho was my doctor and he was very indirect, dishonest, and displayed not a care in the world about my situation. Don't waste your time! This place is a joke! I would have done better with Google/Web MD than allowing my child to go to this place. Staff/counselor very caring, friendly and helpful. As for the "Dr" well I'll just say I never met her in person and my daughter was discharged after 5 days. Nurse handed me discharge paperwork and that was all folks! People on the phone couldn't speak English fluently .. kept using words that didn't apply to my questions and felt like they were spinning you in circles.. I was getting irritated but still kept my cool and actually was hung up on. My girlfriend who went there was put in an unacceptable situation. There are different floors for the different levels of extremity yet their beds will fill thus combine people who shouldn't be combined.. all the place did was cause a bigger headache and bigger debt.

We had a terrible experience here. Every person we spoke to gave me a different answer and passes the blame. They stated " I don't know why they (the person I spoke to before) said that." This hospital is operating like a car dealership. "Let me check with my manager." They will say anything to get you in the door, make you wait around, then say there is a problem with your insurance. This was my 4th time here and it was a different and a horrible experience this time. Something major has changed here!!!!! I came in voluntarily each time for help and it was the best hospital but not anymore. First, When did this place become an unofficial homeless shelter????? It is horrible for those of us who are invested in therapy and treatment to be surrounded by others that are here for free meals and drugs and reek! KIM you are right staff there is not very friendly. Especially the social workers who are so new to the profession and act as if they really care. My brother was admitted a few months ago and they kept him for a month because his insurance was soooooo good they could keep him there and charge his insurance for the stay. The social worker supposedly assigned to him never called us back and was very rude and unprofessional after showing up in the lobby.
