Not happy with the care that my husband received. He lost weight 50 lbs while there, was prescribed multiple unnecessary drugs, and got c. diff. This is the worst facility. I have been told that it is the go to for United Healthcare/HPN so make sure that you voice your concerns about this facility. Check out Sahara Spring Mountain. A much better choice for senior psych care!

When I came here I could their goal was not to help you get better especially the doctor I forgot her name but all she wanted was to keep me their for as long as she could because the longer I stayed the more I have to pay. I had to pretend that everything was so much better but every second I stayed in there made it worse. We weren't able to sleep some nights because of some of the other patients getting "bootyjuiced".I couldn't even brush my hair because I wasn't allowed a brush but then I would get marked for not taking c... read more

This was the worst experience of my life . this hospital is terrible . i do not recommend it at all . when i was emitted into this exact location, their were staff putting their hands on kids . I witnessed with my own eyes ... in the play room a 10 year old named mathew get grabbed by the neck of the shirt then lifted up .. then thrown back down . this place is so dirty . it's so nasty . And you are treated like crap ... they certainly don't care about you getting better . i was also told " we don't care how much better you ... read more

This place is horrible. Do not expect your loved one to receive the help they need from this place. It's more like babysitting than actual mental health services. And don't bring anything you care about along with you. They will steal your clothes and your belongings, even combs and hairbrushes. My loved one was further traumatized after their stay here.

All I know is that my biological mother had a bad experience there. She said it was a little dirty and they wouldn't let her lay down when she got sick. I haven't been there myself. I prefer Spring Mountain. Basically, I don't know this first hand, this is just what I was told.

This place should be shut down... I was admitted for mental health assistance and it was the WORST experience I ever had. The staff does not care about you or your personal safety. I was so scared that I was going to be raped or attacked by other patients there. If you truly love your loved one and you want them to get help do NOT send them here!!!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A MINUS ---5 STAR I WOULD. I just read the reviews of this place and I had the same experience. Nobody cares they have the air conditioning on so cold there's no way you could get a shower. They'll give you some sandwiches later in the day. The sandwiches are left out 4 hours. Then put back in the refrigerator and then brought out the next night and the next night. There is no treatment you just sit there and watch TV. I asked for an extra blanket and I was told no. They are nasty. One elderly lady... read more

My son died 6 days after being released from this place. They were only interested in the insurance money. It was horrible - they sent him home with a bunch of sedatives. What he needed was suboxone or something to help get him off opiates  Yes, they detoxed him - that was it. He never met with a psychiatrist, all he did was go to 12 step meetings. He was there 11 days. Do not send your loved one here.

I stayed there in 2015. The floors in the bathroom were extremely slippery with no rugs or anything to allow one to keep from slipping. I would place handtowels and try to be careful when showering, but there was no lip around the shower, it was open to the rest of the room. I slipped and fell and had to be taken to emergency as I was unconscious. I had stitches in my eyebrow, nose, lips and tongue and they kept me until all of the my riad colorful bruising was gone. We were not allowed to take photos but another stayee mana... read more
