The worst vet ever. Wanted to put my dog to sleep to examine her... said she was aggressive. Tried it again same vet refused to see her. She saw many vets inbetween these visits with other clinics. Then refused to fill a medication because the vet had not "seen" my dog. The vet "saw" her but refused to examine her. She now goes to Banfield and zero problems! Ear cleanings. Teeth cleanings, etc...... comprehensive care and they don't run out of medications like they do at value.
Not a fan! Cost me $65 just to have an eye infection treated for my 14-yr old shih tzu. Come to find out, all they gave me was essentially neosporin (triple antibiotic ointment). This after a lecture and guilt trip for not doing their full diagnostic treatment plan ($300+), which I declined because I'm the middle of an out-of-state move and not employed presently. :(
Terrible customer service. Unqualified clinical treatment of dogs and cats is not preferable. This is a cheap clinic that misdiagnosed our dog. We ended up taking our dog to an ER hospital that same day. The vet gave the wrong meds a highly dangerous issue for misdiagnosing our little guy. If you want fully qualified veterinarian treatment for your animals, go to a clinic that has highly qualified staff. You'll pay more but the life of your animal is paramount. This cheap clinic may be good for issues such as flea and tick ... read more
Shoreline Value Pet Clinic seems like a good idea at first because it's walk-in, the wait times are relatively short, and the prices are reasonable. DON'T BE FOOLED: THESE PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PETS AT ALL. I've been a regular for over three years and after their negligent, illegal treatment of my dog last week, I'm never going back. My dog had been vomiting and lethargic so I took him in on Thursday. Given his medical history the vet surmised that he might be suffering from pancreatitis and took fecal, urine,... read more
Ok I go here a lot because it such a good price. BUT My last visit makes me want to give them 0 stars!! A Indian female doctor told me she couldn't talk about anything because I didn't pay for exam just shots.. Okay.. Then after giving my dog shots which caused him to bleed on the counter she then hands me a squitter syringe to squirt in his mouth. I say oh no I'm not good at that will you just do it and she said " no it says here your dog bites and I can't afford to have him bite my hands I'm a surgeon". I swear that is wor... read more
We got our cat spayed here. At the end of week one of healing, her stitches had opened on the top and bottom of the incision. She wasn't licking them at all. The clinic did offer to fix their mistakes. After reading online, I decided it was better to let it heal itself rather than putting her through more stress and taking her back there. Now it is healed and we have a two inch plastic string hanging out of the cat's belly that appeared from who knows where. -_-
Update: I changed my review because they did NOT have great care. Turns out they skipped a ton of stuff, they got me out the door quickly without follow ups, and they were negligent in taking the correct steps for my dog's care. Never again.
I wrote a review last week, and I just wanted to give a little update. I believe that Value pet clinic is probably fine for a quick check up, shot, or maybe even a spay or neuter. But, if you have an animal with something more serious, please look elsewhere I took my cat to and from for three days, saw three different vets who told me a million different things.I still don't know what was wrong with her, and it's very scary I also blame myself, I should have realized after the second day that there was a problem. So, my best... read more
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I volunteer at a local rescue shelter and brought a cat to them who had been mauled by a dog. I was informed that I would have to pay extra for an emergency visit, under the circumstances I agreed. I was called back after about 15 minutes and told that it was a superficial wound that needed to be sutured. I was given a quote of $600. They were in no hurry to treat the animal however still wanting to charge the emergency fee. Feeling very uncomfortable I chose to leave and take the cat t... read more
