This was my very first visit to establish care for my 10 y/o rescue dog. We experienced Long wait times despite having the first appointment of the day. A tech, not the veterinarian, gave her vaccine in her hind leg ( where it has never been given), made her yelp and jump, and had to re- inject her. Good price and nice receptionist. The rest is horrible. Inadequate vet who didn't have much knowledge and I asked for a different vet multiple times and got ignored and stuck with the same inadequate doctor who misdiagnosed and didn't help my dogs at all. Told me my puppy had heart murmer then said it was gone the next visit. She couldn't figure out what my other dog's skin condition was and she is still suffering it. I had high hopes for this place. The receptionist who took my phone call for the appointment was really nice, and made the whole process stress-free and I felt confident about my appointment. However, coming in, the vet technician and the doctor who met with me and my cat were not kind and greatly overstepped in judgement. I called them saying my cat have a was coming out of miles can somebody please take a look at it all I heard back we're fully booked do you wanna call back tomorrow at 7:15 and schedule appointment. Unbelievable customer service will never use them and I will bid on anybody to go into your precious animals to this hospital that care only about the money nothing else is concerned for them call tomorrow at 7:15

Shoreline Central Animal Hospital has gone down hill so much. We understand it's Covid but it's to the point where no one should bring their pets here. They are extremely unprofessional especially Emily who has addressed us on multiple occasions with no sympathetic. She and the rest of the staff are extremely uncompassionate. We loved Dr Paulsen & Dr Snyder but other than that stay away! They used to be a great place where we felt we could take our pets. We spent two years coming here. What a joke this place is. Went there for my 8 week old lab's new puppy check up at 330p yesterday. I walk in and they tell me to go wait in my car and text them that I'm here and what parking place I'm in, and they'll come out to get her. After doing so, and waiting 25 more minutes, someone comes out to tell me they're running late and it could be another hour. I asked if she was kidding, 90 wait for an 8 week old puppy? I have been bringing my dog here 6 years. The clinic changed their name last year. I brought my dog in for dental and their prices doubled with the name change. Absolutely ridiculous. You have lost my dog as a patient forever. Shame on you.

This update is long overdue. My visit went well with the vet. However, the vet was saying that my cat Mitts, may require eye drops that have a dye in them to check for scratches and such. I have two cats and they get very playful sometimes. So I thought maybe he had been scratched in the eye. The vet told me this would require sedation to put the dye drops in his eye. Be warned... I took my "kids" here for a check up and nail trim and the vet himself was fine; he gave us plenty of details etc...but the vet tech that helped us sucked. She cut one of Finn's nails waaaay too short (it's now a wound) and said nothing to us. We heard him yelping but thought it was another doggie. We were sent home with flea meds for both Finn and Teddy; Teddy was given the incorrect flea medicine.
