I have been bringing my dog here 6 years. The clinic changed their name last year. I brought my dog in for dental and their prices doubled with the name change. Absolutely ridiculous. You have lost my dog as a patient forever. Shame on you.

This update is long overdue. My visit went well with the vet. However, the vet was saying that my cat Mitts, may require eye drops that have a dye in them to check for scratches and such. I have two cats and they get very playful sometimes. So I thought maybe he had been scratched in the eye. The vet told me this would require sedation to put the dye drops in his eye. We agreed to see if the medication would work first. I got home and did some research and realized that to put a quick, painless drop in my cat's eye does no... read more

Be warned... I took my "kids" here for a check up and nail trim and the vet himself was fine; he gave us plenty of details etc...but the vet tech that helped us sucked. She cut one of Finn's nails waaaay too short (it's now a wound) and said nothing to us. We heard him yelping but thought it was another doggie. We were sent home with flea meds for both Finn and Teddy; Teddy was given the incorrect flea medicine. I called them to verify what I was given and was asked to return to the clinic for a replacement. When I got th... read more

Went to for the first time and I was shown just how much (or little) they "care" about an animals well-being and whether they live or die. My tea cup Chihuahua had become sick this morning and I waited to see if she would get better because the last time she became I'll due to her eating something she shouldn't have, it cost me near $800 and all they did was give her fluids. I am in collections because of that visit. So when I heard about value get being affordable care I was so relieved. I knew I had to find a vet that i co... read more

Horrible experience! Been waiting for over 3 days for x-ray results after paying over $400 for X-rays (almost double what we were quoted). We have called the clinic 3 times today, and my husband even went to the clinic to get the results, but they refused to get them to us. I was promised that we would get a call today when the clinic called, but the clinic closed over 2 hours ago, and still no call. This is ridiculous! My dog is in pain, we want to help him, but our vet is jerking us around! After bringing all of our animal... read more

The veterinarian barely even looked at my cat before diagnosing him with something he turned out not to have. She botched the pain shot, and was unable to give him a pill. She offered me two estimates - $300 and $600 - both for things he didn't need. Went to my olds vet and paid under $100. My cat is fine. They weren't even nice to him!

I have used this vet on one other occasion for routine dog vaccinations. At that visit I was told they don't make appointments. The animals are seen in order of arrival. No issues. This most recent visit I arrived at 4:30 pm in the reception area with my dog who seems to be having mouth pain. The receptionist was talking with another customer. I was looking for a place to sit down when the receptionist said to me "We are closing and can't see your dog. We are open tomorrow at 9am." I was upset for my dog and close to crying... read more

I made appointment to get my kittens neutered and spayed, I have 3 boy Bengals and 1 female. They are 13 weeks old. I was told they did this and no problem just need to be at least 2 pounds which they are. I even received the follow up phone call as a reminder to take the food and water away by 8pm the previous evening. I get my kittens loaded up on carriers drive 45 minutes to the clinic only to have them say they do not do kittens, they need to be 6 months old. Now I am pissed, because I fully disclosed what kind of kitte... read more

Although the name is "Value Pet" their rates are average, and as most vet clinics they " Find" things to add to your bill so ends up being a whole much more than what you were expecting... They are always understaffed so even when you call on the phone, you have a long wait on hold. A long wait. Same as when you have an appointment, they are always running way behind and they tell you the doctor is in an emergency surgery. Expect to spend a minimum of 3 hours there and end up paying the same or more than anywhere else. Two... read more
