After taking my cat in for a regular check-up for the first time at Cats Exclusive, I was shocked by the quote for dental work. So I did some research and went to Value Pet Clinic in Shoreline for a second opinion to see if my cat really needed that dental work before I moved to New York. They didn't charge me for the first visit, and worked with me so that when everything was over and my cat had two of her teeth extracted, I ended up paying almost half the cost Cats Exclusive quoted me, INCLUDING the microchip (that was alm... read more

I normally take my dog to the Renton location on my way to my paren'ts on the weekend for regular routine stuff but due to the distance on a weekday, I took my dog to the Shoreline location. I must say, I really liked Dr. Wilson and the staff who took the time to answer all my questions They even suggested that I register online so that I can get the 1st exam waived which is normally $32. I would recommend either location and you will get the best price and service.

So today I took my kitty to VALUE Pet Clinic on Aurora. BIG kudos and recomendation here! They did tons for her including shots, clipping and prescription along with dealing with her wound. All very courteously and at less than $80 all together when the ER vet was wanting $1000 before treating her at all! They have all the vet grade flea products there as well at much less the price of PetCo and vets. I am thrilled with them =D

I am very impressed by VPC. I took my Maine Coon kitty in to have some teeth extracted, for which my old vet had quoted me $800 to $1300. That seemed (extremely) steep, so I decided to try VPC. I'm so glad I did! The vet and tech were both kind, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned for my cat's health. They listened to everything I said and checked out some other things that were a concern to make sure my girl is healthy. They were fantastic handling her - gentle and calm. It's always nerve wracking to have your pet... read more

We brought our senior dog here for about 3 years. The staff were friendly, but we rarely saw the same vet twice, so there was little continuity in his care. He developed a severe ear infection and soon after lost the use of his back legs. The vets didn't explore a possible connection, sent us for expensive, inconclusive neurological scans, and suggested we start thinking about end-of-life decisions. At the same time, he developed a worsening skin condition and hair loss. The vet didn't offer treatment or express concern. A... read more

They killed my cat and made her go through unnecessary pain and suffering. When they finally euthanized her they only gave her the final shot. Which means her death was extremely painful so they could save a few bucks. Of course the charged me for both shots. Heater gave my four pound cat a drug not approved for cats under five pounds that she didn't even need and left the bandaid on her foot. She lied about side effects of the drug my cat wasn't approved for and when I reported them she didn't respond for a week. The appo... read more

After years of taking our dog here, we lost our precious boy due to undiagnosed renal failure. This disease was never looked into the way it should have been and his symptoms were attributed to other problems by various vets here. Because of the oversight, our boy wound up having a seizure and had to be rushed to be put down due to his immense pain. Looking back at his lab records, we found that over a year ago it was noted by the clinic's lab that he had potential kidney disease that should be investigated. We were never ON... read more

We found our cat stiff and dead 5 days after taking him into the vet for a physical but all they wanted to do was vaccinate him. They try to charge you for everything possible before they diagnose your pets. We came in with our cat knowing he had asthma and they didn't test him for asthma until they ruled out everything else that cost us over $600. Finally they told us he has asthma after one xray... after this they would refill his medication. And they were good on that. But then we recently took him in to get a physical an... read more

Be careful of the hidden fees. There is a $100 same day visit fee which they did not disclose until it was time to get my cat and pay. Unfortunately, since they have been taken over by a bigger company...they don't give fair pricing like they used to.
