Whenever I went to this location of Showbiz I got horrible service. First things first, they wouldn't let my 22 year old sister into a rated R movie because she had down syndrome. She enjoys these movies yet they didn't care about that and wouldn't hear it. She really wanted to see the movie yet they wouldn't due to her having down syndrome. Me and her are both over the age of 21 yet we couldn't see the movie. This is bullshit. So, we decided to watch to watch a different movie but it only got worse. They wouldn't let us pay... read more
Second time I come on a Tuesday and there's a long line. They should prepare for the extra crowd. The lines move very slow. Takes 5-7min to attend 1 guest
Ladies bathroom has had a stall out of order for the past 2 times we have came and the whole bathroom smells like STRONG URINE so disgusting.
I have been visiting the Showbiz theaters for a while now and am absolutely frustrated that in my last 5 visits, they have not made the close caption feature works. I keep telling them in the different locations but they can't seem to make it work even though the movies are advertised as closed caption. Yesterday was my last try. They say they are sorry but in the end, nobody fixes the problem so Management really does not care I guess. Sat. Feb 27. 7:30pm - Bought my ticket online, got to the theater 20 min before showtime. Only 2 employees working behind counter and BOTH girls were waiting on ONE customer. I was the only other person there. After waiting 10 minutes without any acknowledgement that I was there, I got out of line thinking maybe I didn't need a soda anyway. Bought tickets online prior to 11:00 Sunday showtime. Went to see The Little Things with Denzel Washington, only 8 people at this showing. Jan. 30, 2021. First things first. Wanted the Souvenir bucket of popcorn and cup , cashier states we aren't doing that since the pandemic? Okay, March 2020 and it's now Jan. 2021 and you Still have it on your big up top menu board and menu board directly facing out at customers at the cash register? Bad experience at ShowBiz on Northpark I took my granddaughter to see Little Women and the new theater seating is nice but half way into the show the DVD or whatever digital media they use to project started to act up, It was sticking and skipping just like a scratched DVD does at home. I got up to use the restroom and told the attendant who got a manager. Nope they missed it, compared to other locations. We were in theater 10. The seats were absolutely horrible as far as comfort. The kids behind us apparently thought they were at the playground and they never did shut up. I was there with my 2 young daughters who knew how to behave. So yes I do love kids but like the ones that behave more. The lady with the crying baby I guess didn't care. Watching Captain Marvel in SDX was great until 20 minutes prior to the ending the sound cuts out and no voices from the movie can be heard. Don't ruin your movie watching experience here. Go to Deerbrook or Valley Ranch instead. Last experience here the fire alarm went off and I waited 30 minutes for the fire department to close the place down due to a gas leak. I'm so tired of wasting time here.
