I agree with the comments about being a clean theater, considering it's fairly new. I also appreciate the very helpful and polite staff. This is where I recommend to go in This side of town. There has been alot of local publicity about their renovation and the new state of the art SDX theater. We decided to try it out and invited a group of 15 to movies for a birthday. Showbiz Cinemas in Kingwood is really the only place where I go to see movies. The theaters are usually always clean and has comfortable seating. They have a pretty wide selection of food and beverages which is great. Definitely can get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights so plan accordingly.

About what you would expect, but I will say the bathrooms are cleaner than a typical movie theater, we've been treated nicely by the ticket and concession people and they make a big deal about turning off cell phones, which I always like. They also sell beer and other alcohol which is quite nice. I'd really like to see more 3D offerings, but they have some showings of the popular movies.

I would like to compliment one of the managers here named Mr. Curtis. He went above and beyond to accommodate a large group we had. It was not lost on us that he had no obligation or responsibility to cater to us in any way. It is always a pleasure to see wonderful customer service still around. The theater is always clean and we've only had positive experiences here.

Showbiz kingwood is an excellent, generously priced, family friendly theatre. I recently purchased tickets for the wrong showing and the next day they had no problem giving us passes for a future movie. Skyler the manager was very helpful and works hard with her crew!

We love this movie location! It seems like not a whole lot of people know about the location, so it's not as busy as the amc in the mall. I also love the fact that they have Icee coke! It's unfortunate that amc in the mall doesn't, and for that reason I would rather go here. There's just something about an Icee coke and a bag of popcorn :)

My son and I had a great time at this small chain theater. We didn't hit the snack counter, because we ate before we arrived. After reading the reviews about the snacks, I have to try the popcorn next time. I'll have to check out the reusable bucket and cup. I love to save money and that's a bonus when I hit the movies. The only complaint - that the seat I sat in did not recline. I was not comfortable, but I'll try again. We will definitely return.

Clean theatre, leather seats and $6.75 matinee prices before 6pm. It cannot get better than this at no other theatres in California. Keep going to Showbiz Cinema to see movies...I will surely do it.
