I went to Simon Med Imaging on September 29, 2022 for an x-ray (acct# *****************. ******************** charged me $117.26 at the time of service. They insisted I pay this amount UP FRONT even though I questioned it due to the fact I have insurance. I wanted my insurance to be billed rather than pay up front and I did not have a choice- I was told I had to pay upfront. After insurance processing it was determined I actually only owed $49.12. This company is so fraudulent it makes me ill. They told me that my services would not be covered under my insurance and charged me over $1,300. Then they billed my insurance for about $1,700. The discounts and reductions per the agreement with the service company totaled about $1,500. I have contacted them multiple times to get a refund of what they charged me and continue to get a run-around. I even had my insurance company contact them and they are completely non-responsive. I am not a patient, and I live in ******** and I received an email that I had an upcoming mammography appointment. and I live in ******** and I received an email that I had an upcoming mammography appointment. Their phone number and phone menus are scams and dont work. There was a link in the email, which brought me to a place where they wanted my personal information. Everything Ive read leads me to believe its an insurance scam, even if they have real offices and machines.

I have been over an hour on phone trying to get my ** images to bee sent to me. No phone # for my location, **********, on website. A general # took me to **, they sent me to 2 more #s that aren't correct.No one can help me. They can't even get the images to a patient!My doctors needs them. Very poor customer service. The "Chat" is digital and cannot help with specific problems. why are you still in business??!! horrible.

I had an *** done by them and I asked for an itemized bill as I was required to submit to my insurance company for reimbursement. My first request was as I left the office after the *** and I was told "we can't give you one here, you must contact the company." I tried to do so on numerous occasions. They phone is answered by a machine and puts you on hold for 20- 30 minutes and no one ever responds. You leave message to call you and no one does. Simon med has been sending me text messages that I need a 2nd mammogram & an ultra sound. I made an appointment. After the appointment was made I continued to get phone calls, **************** to make an appointment. I got a text message that my appointment is today. I come & they do not have my doctors orders & asked me for them. This place is ABSOLUTELY the most incapable & unorganized place I have ever walked into. The *** is far more capable of taking care of their animals than Simon Med is taking care of anyone.

Simon med requires an inaccurate amount up front before receiving imaging orders then makes the patient jump through multiple hoops to receive money back. They say they verify insurance before imaging order appointment, but yet Im fighting to get my money back. Total takes advantage of patients needing imaging orders to make medical decisions and bleed them out of money to only be sitting on MY money making interest off of it while already receiving the payment through the insurance. I was sent here on 12/9/2022 for an x-ray on my chest. The person at front desk told me she had to check if ***** was covered by them. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was told that they can take my insurance and my part owed was $34.74. A few weeks later on 1/23/2023 I received a bill to pay an additional $124.26 that I was out of network and not covered. Based off the other reviews on here it seems to be a common theme. My husband made an appointment to the facility where we were told they take his insurance and the day before the appointment they called us and said they don't take his insurance. ( He already rescheduled all his clients for this appointment) Then we rescheduled with other location where we were told they take his insurance.
