This is the worst medical facility I have ever dealt with, I went there in November of ****. They over charged me $150.73. I have been calling every 2 weeks and they keep telling me it is in process and should get my money within 30 days. Eight months later I still do not have my money.
The practitioner who did my MRI was lovely. HOWEVER, their financial practices should be illegal. Their policy is not to perform the service until you pay them what they say your insurance will not pay. It turns out they overcharged me $131 back in March, 2023. It is now 5/25/23 and they are still holding my $. I called on 4/11/23 and asked about my refund. The service rep told me I needed to call back in 45 days so this could be investigated. Their license should be revoked. Repeated issues with scheduling, rude reception staff. Today, we arrive for a scheduled ** on an infant. They take our money. We wait 45 minutes past our appointment time then are called back only to them be told NO. They don't have pediatric equipment. From scheduling to check-in, not one person could figure that out?! This company very simply does NOT CARE about people. Period.
My doctor's ********************** **** was booked so I outsourced and scheduled several CT and MRI with Simon Med. My doctors claim to have never received their reports although the ***************** received their bills. I've spent the last 2 months begging Simon Med to fax copies to the ordering physician and having my physicians saying they still haven't received.
Front-desk receptionist stated I had to pay upfront for services, even with valid insurance. I was billed close to $400. My EOB shows the insurance company paid almost the same amount, and I was only supposed to pay my co-pay for service which is less than $50! No luck trying to contact them about this double-dipping. I just saw that ABC15 news did an expose "Let *** Know" which shows other customers having the same issues with billing. They are encouraging ** to file with the BBB, and that is what I am doing.
Awful. I went in for an ultrasound and advised them I had met my deductible. The receptionist said ********* to get my service done I needed to pay $126. Considering I have a lump on my neck, I didnt continue to argue and just got my ultrasound done. As soon as I saw the claim on at his website, I called to inquire, and was told I needed to call back to have the refund processed in 30 days. I wish I could give zero stars. Did you know that Simon Med imaging is one of the highest cost in the ****************? People - learn from me - you do not have to go to Simon Med, call your insurance company and find cheaper locations for the exact same procedure you are having done. I learned the hard and costly way that Simon Med imaging is price gauging their customers and making you feel like you have to go to them because they did one procedure therefore, you have to continue seeing the same provider. Oh my God, scheduling is extremely horrible, they are located outside US and can't understand English language. I wonder WHO in SIMONMED made the decision to send the customer service and scheduling to outside US such as ***** or any other place, that person should be fired. They are there only to support their countrymen, with this kind of support, no one wants to go to Simonmed. I am sure their staff here in US are maintaining standards at imaging centers
terrible service here . made an poiment showed them proof and still would not help me . refused to give me contact info to provide feedback . i would stay away from this place
