I went by Skyhouse Austin to look at a one bedroom apartment for myself and had the pleasure of having Brittany showing me the apartment and all of the amenities SkyHouse has to offer. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by the Concerierge and then the staff at Skyhouse. The apartments are very neat with the concrete ceilings and large windows. The view this high rise-has to offer is phenomenal. Skyhouse has so much to offer and a wonderful staff which makes this place feel like home.

Skyhouse Austin is a great place to live! I relocated from out of state not knowing much about the city. The leasing office was very helpful and made the process easy. The building is well maintained, clean, modern, incredibly secure, and sound proof. The location is perfect for getting to know the city and Skyhouse has awesome amenities to enjoy. This is the first time I have ever written a review for an apartment that I have never even lived in but I felt it relevant given the circumstances. Round 1: On Friday, July 29th 2016 I stopped by Skyhouse with the hopes of seeing a two bedroom apartment. "Amy" said that we needed an appointment and could not show us an apartment due to the fact that she had someone coming in already. I chose to live at Skyhouse because I wanted to be on the hike and bike trail in a new building with certain amenities, and on this side of town. The views are spectacular and the roof top pool, gym, grilling area and clubroom clinched the deal for me. What I did not foresee is an absolutely superior staff- from the leasing office, concierge, to the cleaning folks. This place is a community and as much a family as you can get in an Austin hi-rise. Overall, living at Skyhouse was an enjoyable experience. A few of the positives... The leasing staff and concierge were always friendly and helpful. I enjoyed working with Chris and Amy. My maintenance requests were routinely completed within a couple of days. The location is excellent, and offers easy access to downtown via the hike and bike trail. After living here for 2 years, I am moving out soon. Skyhouse has been great to live in. I really personally like that the amenities/hallways/etc. aren't too over the top in design like some of the newer buildings. That + the amenities, while looking less fancy, are more usable & comfortable in my opinion. I don't want to feel like I'm living in a Vegas hotel. Skyhouse is functional with floor to ceiling windows/beautiful views and that is why I love it.
As of Dec 2015 I am about half way through my 12 month lease. I am currently living in a two-bedroom with a friend. We were living farther up north before but we had to "give downtown a shot" for a year just for the hell of it. I absolutely love living at Skyhouse. The units are very nice. Just stayed at a friends apt that lives here. If I lived in Austin I would definitely try to move here. This place is nicer than many 4, 5 star hotels as far as amenities. Roof top area was my favorite. Never had to drive to anywhere since it was walking distance to many restaurants, bars and convenient stores.
I've lived at SkyHouse for about 6 months. In general, it's a great community with professional and courteous staff and great looking units. I love that all the units are very modern, amenities are plentiful, and the staff is great. It's also a very very quiet building (perhaps the quietest I've lived in), and I love that.
