As I had the model home in the neighborhood I thought it would be taken care of better before closing but they just ripped the offices and carpet out of the garage, took the glass wall out and put in a garage opener leaving everything unpleasant to look at and unfinished saying this is how they finish all the garages. The rest of the house is nice but feeling disappointed in how the left the garage.
This is my second purchase of a Smith Douglas Home. Our first experience was so positive that after selling the home at the height of the market and shopping for a downsize home, the SDH Townhome was a perfect fit! The Townhome functions and feels just like our single-family home on the downsize, easy to manage scale that we needed.
Build quality is average, not much attention to the usability. for example living room space organization is poor, not much attention to making space for sofa, tv and other common things in the living room
Home well build in superior quality.
Quality and value are excellent. The staff that we worked with has been great.
