Every home buying process is long, but I was out of state when I did mine. With being able to get through that, I would recommend them. I'm sure it would have been even easier if I was nearby.

I first came across Smith Douglas Homes while searching for a new home in my area. I was easily able to visit the model home and speak with one of their agents. I found a great quick-move-in house that fit all of my criteria and was even able to add on a few modifications last minute. I truly enjoyed my experience with Smith Douglas Homes and the building process.
Stacey and Kenny were amazing at telling us the whole process and how things are going to go, including our process of being able to see the build of the house when it came to walkthrough and closing. Stacey was very quick to answer when we have questions.
Really Satisfied
Overall the buying process was extremely stressful and I don't think the builder did enough to really alleviate that stress. I am still having issues even after the fact. They are attempting to be rectified but not to the degree that I would expect a builder would do. I built last year with Ryan Homes and I told people involved in the process that Ryan was very outgoing and made things right. I have only asked for the bare minimum throughout the process and even that was a struggle.
My experience with Smith Douglas - Lantern Pointe was amazing from the beginning. Christine and Joe did an amazing job and we feel so lucky to have had them guide us through the process of building our first home!
