Overall, the experience with Smith Douglas Homes was fine. I think that some parts of the construction process could have been done better. The local general contractor did a good job rectifying everything that he could. I think the subcontractors could have done a better job. The biggest grip that I have is with the concrete. We had a lot of cracking all over the foundation and driveway. The general contractor did good and tried his best to make it right. They resurfaced it; however, the underlying cracks are still there. It was a great build of the house and the builder was great to work with.
