I had friends that had built new homes before and had run into problems along the way, so I kept waiting for a problem to pop up at some point in the process. But it was insanely easy to work with Smith Douglas, I was very happy and absolutely love my home.
Very professional and cooperative in our process to secure our home.
Just make sure that all items are taken care of prior to closing.
I am extremely happy with the experience and service I received from Smith Douglas Homes.. My son and I had a long driving travel from California to Tennessee, and when we arrived at the home late in the evening, everything was perfect. The few things that needed attention got properly repaired by very competent people.
Natalia was fantastic to work with and made the whole process effortless. We liked the layout of the home, and the choice of colors and textures. The home was beautifully designed and crafted with care.
From start to finish it was a very smooth process and we definitely would recommend Smith Douglas Homes.
From beginning to end I had a great experience. Many will try to talk you out of working with a builder or purchasing a new build but we had the opposite experience of so many other horror stories.
The sales agent was really helpful, knowledgeable, and patient in working with us throughout the homebuying process. However, things got more complicated as the building process went on, and we have had a few problems since we moved into our new home. Things that we have brought to their attention are being addressed slowly but surely. Overall, I would recommend Smith Douglas Homes, but their slow response to issues and repairs is one of the main things I am not happy about.
