I booked this restaurant on recommendat ions for a special evening with my partner I have to say I was very pleased with my choice and would highly rocommended this restaurant to anyone tgat wants a special evening the best steak I have ever had....the location is within 200 yards of the adrephi theatre also that's one of the reasons I booked as we had tickets for the evening at the theatre
A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Hospitality, ambience and most importantly food was excellent. This is Hawksmoor's more mature cousin.
Great surf and turf special. All encompassing wine list. Attentive servers. What more could one want from a fine dining establishment?
Just wanted to say the atmosphere and service were great, but the Italian dishes were a little overdone and dry. There was not much marina sauce on my parmesean dish.
The USDA Porterhouse steak was excellent, our service was top notch, doing well to recommend some very good wines. However, Expect a fairly hefty bill at the end.
Smart uptown feel and look of restaurants and bars especially the ground floor. Service is a very high standard; attentive, but never intrusive (a difficult balance to strike). Menu is very high quality steaks with a very wide choice of meat cuts but very expensive. Is it value for money? that's difficult .....we took advantage of an Open Table dining offer which was very good value compared to a previous visit full a la carte which wasn't good value at £90pp. S&W in NY has a better ambiance so you should try that, but its g... read more
great ambience in the restaurant, spot on service, bigger than expected steak on the lobster and steak deal, very good quality
Superb venue, near the Savoy. Great cocktails and spectacular steak. Very good wine list too!
Great food Bar was excellent with the cocktail range A little pricey but didn't spoil a good night
