Smith and Wolensky is always reliable. My Rib-Eye was cooked perfectly at Medium and was juicy and nice and pink the way I like it. The Bernaise sauce was wonderful as was the creamed spinach. The only issue was that my glass of Kendall Jackson Reserve Cab was served on the warm side. However, they got another bottle from their cellar which was perfectly cooled just below room temperature which was just great. It was a great meal
Had a great time in a long awaited birthday dinner date with my husband. Loved that the clientele was very mixed (from tourists, ultra casuals, modernistas) and covered a large range of age groups. Our waitress was fabulous and even though it was super busy we barely noticed as she made time to chat and make us feel totally comfortable. My wife and I visited Smith and Woollensky early Saturday evening. The place was already fairly busy with a good buzz. We enjoyed a drink at the bar with very friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. We then went to the basement restaurant. The service was good and our fillet steaks lovely. We enjoyed wine by the glass(lots of choice for wine by glass) and had a relaxing and very enjoyable evening. We will be back soon.
Lovely meal, chose the 3 course set menu. Food was great and plenty of it. Waiting staff were excellent. Highly recommend
As always when visiting had an amazing lunch - food and service wonderful. Oooh and I could drink their cocktails all day.
Our new favourite restaurant. Never disappoints. Ed our waiter was amazing nothing to much trouble and the manager selected a delicious wine for us. Great table. Made to feel special and appreciated. Aesthetically amazing decor.
Visited with my wife for Anniversary, the service was amazing and really friendly. My wife loves steak and this was I quote "the best steak she'd ever had". We had the chocolate cake for desert, which is huge and really rich, we couldn't finish it between us, so we took the rest home for our kids. Thank you Smith and Wollensky, we had a fantastic Anniversary meal. #happywifehappylife
We had our first date @ Smith & Wollensky in NYC nearly 20 years ago. Had to give the London branch a go. It is beautiful and the service, atmosphere and food were great. We had brunch and cocktails. When the restaurant found out we had our first date in NYC they brought us fizz on the house to celebrate. We'll definitely return
