An extensive wine list but very expensive and the food is not cheap either. The service and food is very good and the décor is excellent.

Big fan of S&W in NYC so was eager to try out the London outpost. Huge dining room with both ground and basement dining rooms. Steaks were awesome, not quite the same NY sizzling approach but food overall was greta. Service was slow, our waitress disappeared after taking our order, never to be seen again, despite not many tables occupied. Likely teething pains but a great addition to the London steakhouse scene

Service friendly, attentive without being pushy. Beautiful restaurant has a buzz without being loud. Pay careful attention to everyones needs. It was a friends birthday and they were so sweet about it. First time I have had one of their bake potatoes and it comes with bits to choose from to top including sour cream and bacon bits. Heaven!!!! Everything is great with bacon. Little Lobster taster wasn't bad either :)

The service was fabulous and when we told our waiter we were in a hurry because of theatre booking the food was delivered immediately

Let's face it. As any half-decent chef knows, it's difficult to ruin a perfect piece of meat. Really difficult. Even if you tried, it would be challenge. I know this from experience and from being somewhat deficient in the culinary skills department. So it should come as no surprise that the Smith & Wollensky (S&W) delivers on its USDA prime steaks. On return from a recent trip to the US we were pining for a little americana and popped for S&W. The outlay of the restaurant is broadly similar to The Delaunay with a warm, buzzy but unobtrusive atmosphere. The food we had was of good quality and well cooked - the tuna was particularly good. We also popped for a baked potato rather than fries, which came with a range of accompaniments and was well received. Went with friends Friday night having been to the New York one,wasn't sure if it would be as good. Not disappointed,food was good,one friend normally has problems as she likes plain food and normally is upset with what arrives. She was thrilled with what arrived,my food was good and two steaks for the boys was outstanding. So all in all I would say give it a go.

The restaurant has been renovated and designed internally to a high state. Food and Wine - Excellent choices, cooked to a high standard. The chocolate cake was heaven! The Staff: Helpful, attentive and not intrusive Overall: Fab place to dine for a special occasion.

On arriving you are greeted immediately by a member of staff. Every other member says hello, very USA. The decor is true Art Deco NY. Beautifully finished and spotless. At the table we were given the menu and the set menu. We opted for the set menu but I decided I'd like a different starter to the ones on there. No problem at all.
