Excellent food - 3 fillet steak deal was great value!
Exactly what I expected from a U.S. Steakhouse. We had a great evening and the USDA Prime was perfectly cooked. Will go back
We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with a meal at Smith and Wollensky before going to the theatre. It was such a brilliant experience from start to finish. They greeted us with a glass of champagne and gave us great service. I ordered a very tasty sirloin steak and my wife had salmon. The extra special thing they did was give us a personalised card wishing us a happy 5th anniversary. This is my new favourite London restaurant and I'm recommending it to everyone.

The cocktails were the best we've ever had yummy, potent and innovative . We had oysters which were just perfect followed by fillet steak which was to die for, accompanied by creamed spinach and onion rings which were also delicious. I know it sounds cheesy, but ever since watching Devil wears prada i just wanted to get my hands on that steak....I heard Smith and Wollensky opened in London, so I just had to try it out. Once greeted by the staff you are made to feel really welcome, our waiter took the time to explain the difference in the cuts of meat on the menu and then brought some out on a block covered in cling film to further help us choose. Outstanding from start to finish, the staff were amazing, food out of this world, I can't praise this place more highly Please check prices otherwise you might take a sharp intake of breath; but if you are looking for one of the best steaks you will ever taste, head here Not a cheap option, but man do you get what you pay for!
The USDA steaks were outstanding! Being two recent transplants from the US, this is what we expected and also having dined in your NYC location many times. service was also outstanding and i must say tops the NYC experience by a mile.
First class service from our waitress, who knew all about the steaks and Wines. Steaks were devine and made even better with the topping I had the blue cheese and my wife had the crab (Oscar). Great surrounding and a enjoyable night out. The manager showed us around and explained some of the history as looking to return with a party of 8.
