Everything was good. Not great, but good. My partner and I did the special with three fillets and two sides. Unfortunately, the Cajun fillet was so spicy that it was inedible. We didn't even add the spicy oil as it was already too spicy. When we told our waiter, he just sort of agreed. It felt like a huge waste to ruin a perfectly good fillet with copious spice.
My husband and I absolutely loved our meal at s&w! It's stunning inside, service was outstanding, food presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted divine. The creme brulee was literally the best I have ever had! Highly recommend.
Greeted by very pleasant staff and asked if I wanted to be seated before my guest arrived, I opted for the bar..Think his name was Earnest (long dreadlocks) what a ambassador. Cooked up a mean bloody mary and you have various ones he can do including a wine version.. Then out of the blue he offered to show us round and into the meat room. Great experience but not really that busy at lunchtime so lack's the buzz but I loved it and the food was out of this world I will be back if only for the main mans banter!! The booked offer wasn't valid, but I had an excellent meal regardless. This was for a surprise date so didn't want to make a scene. The service was good throughout (although heard a lot of smashed glasses/plates from the bar/kitchen area). Steaks excellent quality and the sides big enough to share. Wine menu extensive and the after dinner cocktails were divine. Would definitely return.
Lovely option to try three different flavours to a fillet steak. Good selection of wines in a lovely setting
Lovely Art Deco interior, amazing steaks. Good value Open Table special allowed you to try all different types of sauce or glazing. Who needs a USDA steak when you have Irish fillet that melts in the mouth. Cocktails and drinks, whilst full of flavour and originality are pricey compared with this steakhouses peers and do make this an expensive night out. Would recommend and make your own mind up, but if you go for a nice steak dinner, you will not be disappointed.
Booked one the deals for three steaks, fries and creamed spinach for two. Not disappointed, steaks were fabulous.
Really outstanding service and food experience. Though we were full from lunch, we over ordered and over ate.
Fantastic steak. Fantastic service. Fantastic wine list - over 500 bottles! Would be great for a dinner with clients, a birhday, or just a really nice steak dinner.
