The run around i requested for and paid for 2 movers to load my truck but on the day of the move only one showed up and he was an hour late. i ended having to help the mover. I called SML immediately after. They said they could only compensate me “75.00”. I paid a 300.00 for 2 people. They said they had to put in a request for a manager review. No call back after 3 days. I called to check and they said a manager called and left a vmail. Nothing but lies.
Avoid this company at all costs or it will cost you Avoid this company at all costs - or it will cost you! To start, they showed up late which pushed us outside our reserved elevator time and that cost us our deposit. They only sent 2 guys when they said it was company policy and they would send 3 with an elevator move. This made them very inefficient. They showed up with no moving supplies - dollies, furniture movers, etc. Luckily we had some of our own. They took 4 hours instead of what should have taken 2 because of only ... read more
Would never use or recommend mover Dirk. Move date: September 20, 2021
Never Showed Never showed up, I called at the end of the end of the hour window and they were surprised to hear the movers didn’t show or contact. Representative contacted movers before calling me me back to say they’d be delayed 3 hours. Three hours go by (now late afternoon) and they call and cancel leaving me to figure it out myself after a large across state move.

Awful, movers never showed despite confirmation, paid deposit. Do not use this firm. Movers did not show, they are difficult to contact and we are still trying to get our deposit back after move booked, confirmed and deposit taken.
Poor Experience Some of the fees were higher than quoted. The actual timing of having the movers arrive changed 3 times in the 24hrs leading up to the move, causing a logistical nightmare coordinating all the parts of our move. The movers themselves were friendly, but not very good. They banged a couple walls, dragged dressers down stairs rather than carrying. It was not a good experience and the people on their end had an attitude about it all. I could not/will not recommend this service to anyone.
The Move from $@!#% If I could give Simple Moving Labor 0 stars, or negative stars, I would. Our long-distance move from PA to IN was a complete disaster. The loading crew arrived with no tools and no hand truck (their excuse was that no one told them they needed to bring them, when I was told by SML several times that all crews arrive with both of these items). Then, they proceeded to somehow be the worst moving crew ever. The 2 men who were doing a majority of the moving had no idea how to disassemble anything, nor did the... read more
Excellent! We had three guys that loaded us in Severance and they did a fantastic job and hustled the whole time. Then the three guys that drove up from Spring, Tx to Bryan, Tx, were just as hard working. We did have an accident along the way in the Penske truck, and they had you send out movers to transfer the load from the wrecked truck to the replacement truck in Lamar, Co. Two guys showed up from Denver. These guys were not good. The whole experience with them was not satisfactory. First, they were 2.5 hours late, then t... read more
