My mother was only in this care home temporarily as she was recovering from a fall at home but she received excellent care. All the staff were "lovely" (though Lena got a particular mention!) and the home itself very comfortable. She even liked the food. She told me that she is "very grateful for everything they did for me". This is high praise indeed from a lady who a) had a very jaundiced view about care homes and b) can be rather hard to please. What a fabulous place. The residents are treated with respect and given plenty of choice. It’s a beautiful building complete with conservatory, set in well manicured gardens. The staff are absolutely lovely. Made us all feel extremely welcome and couldn’t have done anymore to help Jenny settle in. Her room has everything she needs and everywhere is spotless. Her dietary requirements are being met with a good varied menu. Well done and keep up the good work

Avoid. From our point of view the standards of care are very low. We had cause to complain on several occasions due to missed drinks, no blanket given, food charts not complete. Lots of other homes that provide a higher standard of care where you are confident that your loved one is in safe hands and we certainly did not feel assured that this home was one of these
