The staff at Somerset House provide a consistent, very caring and attentive quality to the home. One of it's many strengths is that there is not a high turnover of personnel and the home does not use bank staff, this ensures that care is personalised and faces are familiar which is so important, both to residents and relatives.

Reall good care home with lovely staff. Always polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, we are always made welcome and offered a drink. Lovely place.

My mother has been a resident for 18 months and has always been looked after well. All the staff have a caring attitude, and nothing seems to be too much bother. The home is always clean, and so is my mother.

My uncle has been in Somerset House for a few months now, and the manager and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The staff are very caring and always keep you informed about things that are going on with your family.

My 97-year-old mum has been a resident at Somerset House for 15-months now, and I continue to be impressed by the high standard of care provided by both management and staff. Mum is settled and happy and never seems to go short of affection and hugs from her carers. I am always kept fully up to date with her care requirements and condition, and I have full confidence that she is safe and happy in their care.

My mum has been a resident at Somerset House for almost 6-years now. The standard of care is extremely high, and the staff are always friendly, with nothing being too much trouble for them. There are numerous activities arranged for residents to help them pass the day, and they are always encouraged to participate, with themes according to the time of year.
