My mother is very happy here. The staff support her needs well, and she feels at home here. From my point of view, the staff and management are friendly and approachable. Activities are varied, and residents can join in or not as they wish. The food always looks good, and my mother enjoys it. I would recommend Somerset House to anyone looking for a residential care home.

My dad has settled well at Somerset House due to the staff being kind and helpful with his dementia. If I need to know anything about what is happening with him, every member of staff is always helpful. He always smiles when he sees any member of staff, which tells me a lot - if he is happy, so am I to walk away knowing that he is looked after.

Extremely pleased with the care for my mum. She looks well and happy and is always clean and tidy. The staff are caring, friendly and very professional. The home is always immaculate and smells lovely (especially the divine smaller from the kitchen)! The grounds are beautifully kept too. Feel that my much-loved mum is receiving the best care possible. Many thanks.

The home is well run and organised, and the staff are extremely helpful. I am always kept informed of any changes and activities happening. There is always a person at the end of the telephone if I have any questions.

Since my mother's arrival at Somerset House, I have been extremely happy with the quality of care Mum has received. I have found the home to be professional and caring. The biggest compliment I can make is that my mum is happy, which reflects her quality of care and life. Thank you.

My father was a resident receiving end of life care. He lasted 9-months and was happy and comfortable. The staff were very kind and caring. Over the months, they kept us updated on Dad and didn't seem to mind how many times we called. It made it easier for us, as we lived in London and due to lockdown, made it difficult. We did manage to visit Dad a few times but not at the end as lockdown had started again. Thank you all for your help and care and for making Dads last moments as comfortable as he could be. My mother and step father are both residents at Somerset House and I have been very pleased with the care and kindness they have received from the lovely staff. All the high standard meals are cooked on site with a good of choice available. I have been pleased with the activities that are provided to cover all abilities and the nice gardens where the residents are taken when the weather permits. I would recommend this well run home.

Lovely, homely atmosphere when you walk into the home. Staff so caring with residents and great to see so many activities going on... I even joined in! Would recommend to all friends and family.
