After seeing a vehicle on the Internet we drove to cory fairbanks mazda with the intention of purchasing. I had already chosen the car I was looking for, it was just a matter of finding it for the right price. I thought I had at this mazda dealership. After after test driving we were ready to buy. We dropped off my wife's CX7 and were approached by the sales staff becuase I have a 2012 Mazda 3. They wanted to know if we would be interested in trading in my 3. To make a long story shorter, they don't return calls, are rarely available to talk, and have been unwilling to negotiate the price of my trade, or the purchase price of the new vehicle. I will continue to do business with Classic Mazda.
All the service personnel at the dealership are friendly enough. Unfortunately, when/if you buy a CPO vehicle AND their "platinum" warranty, which is their top of the line warranty - they still go out of their way to NOT cover your vehicle and to NOT do any work on the car - even when it's a minor problem and even the service department tells you "wow - i've never seen that before". Worst Dealer in Central Florida! From sales to service, I have not had a good experience. Heavy handed sales team and service is the worst I have ever seen. No returned calls and when you finally get someone on he phone, they blame it on the phone system. Things missing from car when returned, things quoted on phone and then changes when you get there for service, insults to women instead of fixing the problems, are just a few of the things that happened. Do not use this dealership, I purchased a vehicle in March and still today do not have my license plate and or title for the vehicle even though the vehicle has been paid for in full. We keep getting promised we will have our plate and title next week, yet is almost 2 months since purchase and still nothing. The dealership keeps changing who we need to talk to and that they can't do it because it's multi-state even though that was mentioned to them before purchase of the vehicle. The dealer was dishonest. He told me repeatedly throughout the test drive that the car has a warranty. When it came time to sign the paperwork he tried to hold the buyers guide face down on the desk so I would not see that it had an "as is no warranty". After the sale he held onto the paperwork for 30 days until repeated phone calls and complaints to a manager meant the paperwork went through and I got my licence plate - two days after it's validity had run out.
