I have a PPA contract with these guys. I signed up in December, 2017. I figured, how bad could it be? WRONG!! I am currently trying to get a billing statement out of Spruce Finance/Volta Solar/Energy Service Experts for month-end August, 2020. When I get a response they share only a portion of the info you ask about. In addition, their online panel monitoring has had no updates since 9-20-2020. DO NOT LEASE THROUGH THEM. WE SOLD OUR HOME WITH THEIR SOLAR PANELS ON OUR HOME. THEY SENT OUT THEIR INSPECTORS WHICH SAID THAT 25% OF THE PANELS WERE NOT EVEN HOOKED UP AND THAT WHEN THEY DID THE INSTALLATION THEY BROKE SOME TILES ON OUR ROOF. BECAUSE IT WAS A TWO STORY HOME I NEVER WENT UP THERE TO CHECK IT. Impossible to get a hold of the installation contract we inherited when we bought our house. F*** this company AND Tredegar solar that switched to this finance company with no word of doing so. Both companies are absolutely terrible and WORTHLESS. A total dishonest scam!! You cannot reach customer service to save your life!
Our solar panels have not been working since January. We didn't discover the issue until we went to remove panels for roof work. However, we learned that Spruce contacted the previous owner of the house several months ago, was informed they no longer own it, and never tried to contact us (despite all of the paperwork we filled out prior to closing).
